How Business Became More Than Just Survival for Me
Nigeria’s economic crisis has left many discouraged — especially young graduates who hoped their education would lead to stable, well-paying jobs. But when the system fails you, what next?
Like many others, I had to rethink my path. I ventured into business, not just as a hustle, but as a tool for survival and ultimately, transformation. The journey hasn’t been easy — from lack of capital to rising delivery costs and piled-up bills. Yet, I’ve learned that entrepreneurship can be more than just a personal escape from poverty — it can become a platform for vision, growth, and change.
I recently wrote a personal essay reflecting on this journey and how business, when given the right support, can truly reshape the economy. I’ve submitted the full article to an international magazine and will share more once it’s published.
For now, I just wanted to share this little piece of the story — because someone out there may need the reminder: Don’t give up. You’re allowed to start small, dream big, and rise again.
